Cougar Reading- It will be a hauntingly good week as we read spooky stories, poems and partake of a few Halloween brain teasers.
ELA/ Science- In class we learned that Earth's surface is covered with a variety of water and landforms. We learned many vocabulary words such as river, ocean, volcano, and mountain. We are having a great time identifying them on maps and models. This week we will create a model of water landforms with slices of bread and later this week build landforms in sand. We will also learn about Pangea and introduce plate tectonics this week.
Math- Mental Addition Strategies will be introduced and practices this week in class.
Writing- In class we will write about pet monsters in class as we visualize, draw and describe our monsters to each other. We will also create a user's care guide for our monsters.
